How can you best represent survivors of domestic abuse, both in and out of the courtroom? Attorneys, GALS, custody evaluators and parenting coordinators need to understand the trauma their clients have experienced, and how the legal process itself can be triggering. Learn to use a Trauma Informed Lens to view their clients and themselves, with specific changes that can be implemented. You will become a more effective advocate in the high conflict situations that will arise in the legal representation of survivors of domestic abuse.
